Organised by the Y’s Men’s Club (an interest group under YMCA) in aid of needy elderly patients, this exhibition will feature works from a group of art enthusiasts who gather every Tuesday to paint. Under the tutelage of Singapore’s leading artist, Mr Tan Choo Kai, these artists translate everyday scenes and the mundane into vibrant works of art on canvas.
Proceeds from the sales of paintings at this exhibition will go towards supporting needy patients under the Tan Tock Seng Hospital Community Charity Fund’s HELP (Helping ElderLy Patients) programme.

Making it through a tough period is easier when someone cares. And that is just what ‘The Incredible Hulk’ Charity Movie Premiere has done, by raising more than $200,000 for our TTSH Community Charity Fund’s needy patients. Held at the Cathay Cineplex on 11 June, the event was graced by our generous sponsors and numerous Mediacorp artistes. Thanks to all donors and staff volunteers for making this meaningful occasion a rousing success.

TTSH Community Charity Fund was one of six beneficiaries of the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) Great Singapore Duck Race 2007. This award-winning event raised funds for charity through the adoption sales of 100,000 rubber ducks that were released into the Singapore River.

The Appreciation Tea underscored our gratitude to donors who have made a positive difference in the lives of the needy and sick. Two new Needy Patients Programmes, the Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology (RAI) Programme and Students Medical Assistance Programme were launched at this event.
December 2006 - July 2007
The SMRT Silver Tribute Fund (STF) adopted TTSH Community Charity Fund as one of its beneficiaries. Aimed at helping the elderly lead more meaningful and dignified lives, funds raised from the SMRT STF were channelled to our Charity’s Helping Elderly Patients (HELP) Programme, as well as to seven other beneficiaries.
Spanning a period of eight months, the inaugural SMRT STF comprised activities such as the Singapore Symphony Orchestra Charity Gala Concert conducted by acclaimed Music Director Lan Shui, the SMRT Charity. Movie Screening of Spider-Man 3, the SMRT Cram Jam!, a Charity Art Sale, a Pledge Card campaign and flag day events.

To usher in the Lunar New Year, TTSH Community Charity Fund launched the ‘TTSH Charity Partnership Drive’ at the atrium on Friday, 2nd March 2007. This inaugural event was aimed at engaging our key business and community partners to support the cause of improving the quality of life in our community. As part of the celebrations, Master Sha Jing from Sichuan, China, also performed ‘The Wonders of Opera Masks’ - a magical art of face-changing.
As of March 2007, donations and pledges to our “TTSH Charity Partnership Drive” amounted to S$520,200. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to all our donors.
