Calling In

The specialist clinics at the TTSH Medical Centre provide outpatient consultation services for patients referred both by primary health care physicians and specialists in the private and public sector. Consultation at specialist clinics is strictly by appointment.

 

For new referrals to any of the clinical disciplines or change of appointment, please call:

On your first visit to the specialist clinic, please bring the following documents for registration:

NRIC/ Birth Certificate (if you are below 12 years old)/ Passport/ Employment Pass/ Work Permit
Referral letter (if any)
Any medical benefit identification documents (e.g. Civil Service Card, Medical Benefits Card, etc)


Registration
Please come at least 15 minutes before your appointment time for registration.
Upon registration you will be given a queue number and the consultation room number of your doctor. Please take a seat and wait for your number to be flashed on the monitor as well as outside the consultation room. Your doctor will then see you.

Payment
Please make your payment at the Clinic's reception after your consultation. We accept cash, NETS, credit cards (Mastercard or Visa) and personal cheques.

Please note that outpatient charges are not payable through Medisave, except for selected procedures such as chemotherapy etc. Payment in such instances is subject to withdrawal limits governed by the Central Provident Fund Board.

Follow-up appointments
After your first visit, you will be given your own Outpatient Appointment Card, with your personal information and your next appointment date. Please keep your Outpatient Appointment Card properly as you need to present it and your employment pass (if any) for subsequent visits to the clinic. The card helps to speed up the registration process later.

Medication
If your doctor has prescribed any medication, please take your prescription to the pharmacy at Basement 2. You can then collect and pay for your medicine there.
