Introduction

The Department of Anaesthesiology supports the entire anaesthetising needs and surgical intensive care services of Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the National Neuroscience Institute campus in TTSH.

Pre-Admission Counselling and Evaluation Clinic provides centralised electonic listing, financial counselling, pre-operative instructions, clinical evaluation and pre-admission tests to prepare patient for elective surgery.

Patients for elective surgery and endoscopy will be referred to our Pre Admission Counselling and Evaluation (PACE) services at Basement 2, TTSH Medical Centre. Here you will be given all the information you need regarding the proposed procedure or surgery and how best to prepare yourself.

Any pre-operative evaluation and tests will be conducted to ensure that you are fit for the proposed surgery. Financial counselling and information on your estimated bill size will be given.
