@ TTSH provides tertiary level eyecare for an extensive range of paediatric eye problems.
The most serious of these include life-threatening cancers such as retinoblastoma, and
sight-threatening conditions such as paediatric glaucoma, cataract and cogenital opacities
of the cornea.

@ TTSH has also comprehensive services in:
- The prevention of myopia progression in children.
- The management of squint, double vision and other disorders of eye alignment and movement, both in children and adults
e.g. congenital esotropia, intermittent exotropia, accommodative esotropia, cranial nerve palsies, orbital fractures etc.
- The management of amblyopia or lazy eyes
- Refraction in young children using eyedrops (cycloplegic refraction) for those who have difficulty getting a good refraction.
- General eye problems such as sore eyes, allergic conjunctivitis and lumps on the eyelids (styes and chalazia).
- Providing paediatric ophthalmology consultation to doctors in the paediatric departments.
