Introduction

TTSH’s Department of Gastroenterology comprises of a group of highly trained specialists, providing tertiary care medical management of gastroenterological and liver diseases as well as offering an efficient and comprehensive gastrointestinal endoscopic services. All the consultants had spent time training overseas and subspecialise in the various fields of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Combining with our surgical colleagues to form the Digestive Diseases Centre, we offer one of the most comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services in the management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases in Singapore.

Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic

• Balloon dilation of biliary stricturem
• Biliary and pancreatic sphincterotomy
• Endoscopic mechanical lithotripsy of biliary stone and extraction
• Pancreatoscopy
• Mother and baby Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (with/ without electrohydraulic lithotripsy)

Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

• Diagnostic radial EUS for gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions
• Diagnostic endorectal ultrasound
• Interventional linear EUS with fine-needle aspiration (FNA) and trucut biopsy
• Interventional EUS guided celiac plexus block for chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer pain
