Orthopaedic Surgery Clinic provides a wide range of specialty services, including adult reconstruction, hand and microsurgery, the spine service, surgical treatment of orthopaedic tumours, management of multiple trauma, sports injuries of the upper and lower limbs and the foot and ankle.
Adult reconstruction includes treatment of arthritic disorders. Hand and microsurgery specializes in management of conditions related to the upper limbs in adults, which affect the function of the hand.
The spinal service includes treatment of spinal deformity, back pain, sciatica, osteoporosis and spinal tumours. Surgical treatment of benign and malignant soft tissue and bony tumours, which is part of the service provided by the tumour service.
The specialists of the trauma team manage multiple trauma, perform post-traumatic deformative reconstructions, Ilizarov limb-lengthening procedures, and fracture osteosynthesis.
For sports medicine, the team carries out diagnostic and therapeutic arthroscopy, reconstruction of ligaments and manages all sports related conditions of the shoulder, elbow, knee, foot and ankle. The foot and ankle service provides treatment for bunions, heel pain, deformity correction and arthritic conditions.
