We provide a world class, high standard comprehensive range of ENT services, beginning from high tech-equipment, diagnostic evaluation to gold standard operative management and therapy.
The Department of Otorhinolaryngology has evolved and developed from ENT services that began as bi-weekly clinics in 1978. These services were provided in a converted ward with specialist medical staff rotated from the Singapore General Hospital (SGH). In 1980 daily clinics were established, although cases requiring surgery were transferred to SGH. TTSH ENT Unit became independent in October 1983 and today, the unit has 10 consultation rooms and operative facilities.
ENT Clinic comprises of ENT specialists that include 5 senior consultants, 3 consultants, 1 associate consultants and 2 registrars, nurses and administrative staff and runs several sub-speciality clinics.
Allied services run by audiologists and speech therapist. A full-fledged audiology division with diagnostic and hearing aid dispensing capabilities complements the ENT service. A dedicated speech therapy service was established in 1997 for management of patients with voice and swallowing problems.
