The World Health Organisation will celebrate World Health Day on 7 April with a theme on International Health Security. Topics to be profiled include emerging infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS, environmental change and the danger of bioterrorism. In it’s website, the WHO, for the second time pays tribute to Singapore’s battle with SARS in a pictorial feature that traces the steps taken by Tan Tock Seng Hospital in combating the virus.
