Singapore, 2 August 2007 – Professional training in Clinical Hypnosis
will soon be introduced in Singapore, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and Hypnosis & Training Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd.
The courses from the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH) include Certificate, Diploma and Practitioner Diploma, as well as workshops and master-classes. All courses will be conducted by lecturers from the LCCH and are accredited in the UK, Singapore and Malaysia. Open to all Medical and Healthcare professionals, all course graduates will be accepted as full members to The British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. In addition, CME points will be awarded to doctors who participate in the courses.
This collaboration is part of TTSH’s efforts to further develop clinical hypnosis for therapeutic purposes. Clinical hypnosis has beneficial applications in the various specialties of medicine and surgery including burns, severe trauma, pain management, cancer treatment, pre and post-operative surgery, paediatrics and psychiatry. It had been observed that psychotherapy with hypnosis effect changes with the inner conscious mind, resulting in more permanent results.
