Dr. Ganesan Naidu graduated from the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Medicine in 1990. He was admitted as a Fellow to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1999 and completed his Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2007 when he obtained his Fellowship in Orthopaedics and Traumatology from the Royal College. He was awarded a fellowship to further his interest in Orthopaedic Trauma at the Unfallklinik, Mainz, Germany in December 2007.
He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor to the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and a regular Lecturer at the School of Health Sciences, Nanyang Polytechnic. He is also a faculty member for AOTrauma, Asia Pacific and the Advanced Trauma Life Support and Definitive Surgery in Trauma Care courses in Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Dr. Ganesan has extensive experience in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery. His subspeciality interests are pelvic and acetabular fractures, limb reconstruction and fractures around joints. He also performs primary joint replacement surgery and has keen interest in sports surgery.
He is currently the Head of Department and Chief of Orthopaedic Trauma Service in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore.
