Adj. Asst. Prof. David Foo graduated with MBBS from the University of Melbourne
in 1997 and obtained his Membership of Royal College of Physician (United Kingdom)
in 2002 and FACC in 2010. He did his Electrophysiology and Pacing fellowship at
St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney,
New South Wales, Australia.
He is a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) from the International Board
of Heart Rhythm Examiners in 2007 and a Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist
from the America College of Sports Medicine in 2011.
He is currently the Head
of Department of Cardiology in Tan
Tock Seng
Hospital and the Head of Arrhythmia, Pacing and Electrophysiology Service. He is also an adjunct
assistant Professor with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National
University of Singapore. His current interests and research include cardiac
devices and cardiac rehabilitation.
Adj. Asst. Prof. Foo has chaired and presented in numerous international and
regional conferences. He has also
traveled to various parts of Asia to proctor
cardiac pacing and cardiac resynchronization therapies.
