PACT was set up to provide support and care for terminally ill patients and their families. PACT helps patients and families by providing them interim funding for the expenses needed to care for patients in their home or in the community. In addition, it also helps to pay for meaningful activities aimed at improving the quality of life of patients, e.g. art therapy and music therapy sessions for the palliative care patients in TTSH. Education and outreach to the public on matters surrounding the end-of-life are also made possible through the PACT fund.
