We provide diagnostic evaluation, operative management and therapy in the management of diseases of the ear, nose, throat and the head and neck region.

We are complemented by a full-fledged audiology division with diagnostic and hearing aid dispensing capabilities.

We perform stroboscopic examination on the larynx for voice disorders, real time digital recording of endoscopic procedures and microscopic examination of the ear. Investigations like audiological evaluation, skin prick testing, sleep study and speech assessments are also available.

Undergraduate Teaching Programme

  • Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine’s Year 4 Undergraduate Teaching Programme.

Undergraduate Elective

Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine

  • 1 month clinical elective programme (extendable to 2 months) for 4th year medical students.
  • February to June each year, with maximum intake of 2 students per month.
  • Expected to conduct and complete a research project for presentation and publication.

Overseas Medical Schools

  • Observership elective. This can be mixed and matched with other specialties upon request.

NHG Residency Programme

  • Main centre for the NHG-AHPL Residency Programme in otorhinolaryngology.

Medical Officer / Basic Specialty Trainee (BST)

  • JCST- accredited training centre for BST and seamless training in otorhinolaryngology, and family medicine.
  • 3 month Family Medicine training posts.
  • 6 month MOHH MOPEX posts.

Advance Specialty Training (AST)

  • JCST- accredited training centre for advance specialty training in otorhinolaryngology.

Clinical Fellowships

Rhinology Fellowship

  • This is a Singapore Medical Council (SMC) accredited 12 month programme suitable for doctors who are within one year of or have completed advance training in otorhinolaryngology, who wish to advance their subspecialty interest in rhinology. Exposure in facial plastics surgery is also available. Dedicated time for research is provided and subsequent publication and presentation are expected. Applicants must fulfill SMC requirements for temporary registration.
