Course Description
First conducted in year 2008, this annual course presents an overview and update of the peri-operative and anaesthetic management of patients undergoing various neurosurgical procedures. Advances in the fields of neurosurgery, neuroradiology and neurocritical care have changed the way anaesthesia is conducted. The need to explore the evolving trends underlies the need for this course.
Challenges faced in the management of head injury, cerebrovascular lesions and brain tumours will be discussed. A stimulating mix of didactic and problem-based case topics will also be presented. Our presenters are highly regarded experts with extensive clinical experience. They will share with us their experience and insight on some of the current developments in this field.
