Synopsis
The ventilation workshop on live porcine physiologic models is designed to equip participants with in-depth understanding of mechanical ventilation and physiological principles for optimal settings. Live animals will be used to demonstrate the changes in arterial oxygenation, haemodynamic and respiratory parameters for normal lung, simulated ARDS state and response to different ventilatory protocols chosen by the participants.

Course Policy
Any cancellation must be notified to organizer in writing. 10% administrative levy will apply to any course fee refunds. A 50% partial refund will be issued if the enrolment is cancelled between 3 and 6 weeks prior to the scheduled course date. No refund will be given if a course enrolment is cancelled within 3 weeks of the scheduled course date.
Course is subject to a minimum participation before course commencement. The organizer reserves the right to cancel the course and fully refund the participants should unforeseen circumstances necessitate.
