Named after Pearl’s Hill where Tan Tock Seng Hospital was first founded in 1844, PLC is a one-stop medical concierge that offers assistance and support to non-subsidised patients and international patients.

Our team of multi-lingual PLC staff provides co-ordination and prompt accessibility to medical care; focused on meeting the preferred needs of our patients and their families – before, during and after their visits to our hospital.

How do I get to Tan Tock Seng Hospital?

Tan Tock Seng Hospital is conveniently situated behind the junction of Moulmein Road and Thomson Road that is bounded by Jalan Tan Tock Seng, Irrawaddy Road and Sinaran Drive.

Standing just behind the Novena MRT and Novena Square Shopping Complex, the hospital is easily accessed by bus, MRT and private transport. View Map 

How do I get to PEARL Liaison Centre (PLC)?

PLC is conveniently located at Level 1 beside the Tan Tock Seng Hospital Ward Entrance.

How do I make an appointment?

You can make an appointment with via email or call us at (+65) 6357 1590.

Please arrive at PLC or the respective clinics 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment for registration.

What are the consultation charges?

What should I do if I require direct admission?

For all direct admission requests, please email us your recent medical report for an acceptance to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

If you are in Singapore and require urgent attention, please proceed to our 24-hour Accident and Emergency Department located at Level B1.

How can I obtain my medical test results?


Following a review of the results by your attending doctor, you will be able to collect your blood test results from the clinic.


You will be able to collect your diagnostic and radiological results from the Radiology Department located at Basement 1. To assist you in your collection, please fill in the consent form. 

Can someone else collect my medication on my behalf?

Yes, you can arrange for someone else to collect your medication.

A written consent is to be provided before the medication can be dispensed. Medication will be dispensed at Tan Tock Seng Hospital pharmacies.

Where can I obtain my medical report?

Your medical report can be obtained in-person from the Health Information Services Department located at Level 2, or it can be mailed to your preferred address. Find out more details about your medical report here.

What if I require VISA assistance?

Before entering Singapore; 

Please confirm that your visa is valid and ready for your visit to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. For the list of countries where you might require a visa to enter Singapore, please check the Immigration & Checkpoint Authority (ICA) website.

If your treatment requires multiple trips to Singapore, you may need to re-apply the visa for the subsequent visits.

For Visa extension; 

We will be happy to assist with your visa extension and will require the following documents;

    1. Completed Form 14 
    2. Completed Application for Extension form by the doctor
    3. Patient’s passport along with other applicants’ passports

Please provide us with the above stated documents 1 week before the visa expiration date. There may be application charges for the extension. The outcome for application of your visa application is subject to ICA approval.

Is there any accommodation near the hospital for my family members?

For the convenience of you and your family members, we have a list of hotels and serviced apartments within the vicinity of Tan Tock Seng Hospital and will be happy to assist with hotel reservations.

Can you help to arrange a translator as I do not speak English, Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu or Tamil?

Yes, we will be happy to arrange for translation service.

This service is chargeable. Please let us know of your request prior to your visit so that we can arrange for the translators to be present on the date of your appointment.

Can you advise on a suitable doctor as I do not have a specific doctor in mind?

Yes, we are able to recommend a suitable doctor with the medical reports you provide or a short summary of your medical conditions.

How do I pay for my hospital bills?

For consultation in clinics, we accept payment by cash (SGD) or major credit cards.

For inpatient admissions, a deposit is to be made on the day of admission at the Admissions Office located at Level 1, near the main entrance.

Our Admissions Office operation hours are:
Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm
Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday: 8am to 3pm
