A/Prof Lim Wee Shiong is the Director at IGA, and Senior Consultant at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, TTSH. He is Adjunct Associate Professor at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, NTU; Adjunct Associate Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS; Fellow of the American Geriatrics Society; and Associate Fellow of the Association for Medical Education in Europe. Awarded the outstanding alumni award 2016 from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, Boston, USA, A/Prof Lim’s comprehensive track record of scholarly work included over 160 peer-reviewed publications; editorial board member of international journals; reviewer for major national grants, international journals and conferences; and research and teaching awards in Geriatric Medicine and Health Professions Education. His research interests include sarcopenia and related disorders; frailty and intrinsic capacity; cognition-related disorders; caregiving; and evidence-based medicine in the older adult.
A/Prof Wong Wei Chin MBBS, MRCP (UK), MMEd, FAMS
A/Prof Wong Wei Chin is the Assistant Director at IGA, and Senior Consultant at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, TTSH. She is also Adjunct Associate Professor at LKCMed, NTU and Clinical Senior Lecturer at YLLSoM, NUS. Her areas of clinical interest include falls and balance in older adults, osteoporosis and frailty. She was a member of Singapore’s Health Promotion Board – Ministry of Health (HPB-MOH) Falls Prevention among Community Dwelling Older Adults Clinical Practice Guideline workgroup in 2014. A/Prof Wong is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. She is currently the Lead for Geriatric Medicine at LKCMed, and a member of YLLSoM’s Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine (GDGRM) course committee.
Dr Chew Linghui Justin MBBS, MRCP (UK), MMed (Int Med)
Dr Justin Chew is the Research & Innovation Lead at IGA, and Consultant at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, TTSH. He is also an adjunct faculty at the Geriatric Education & Research Institute (GERI); clinical faculty and clinical teacher for NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and LKCMedicine respectively. Dr Chew is an awardee of the NHG-LKCMedicine Clinician-Scientist Preparatory Programme (CSPP) and recipient of the MOH Healthcare Research Scholarship Master of Clinical Investigation (MCI) Programme. His research interests are in cognition, frailty and technology-enhanced practice.
Dr Joanne Kua Ee Chia MBBS, MRCP (UK), MMed (Int Med), MS HPEd
Dr Joanne Kua is the Education & Learning Lead at IGA, and Senior Consultant at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, TTSH. Her clinical subspecialty interest is in falls and balance and her other interests are in active ageing and medical education. She started the active ageing programme (GRACE) and was recently conferred her Masters in Health Professions Education by Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr Kua is the current Programme Director for the National Healthcare Group Geriatric Medicine Senior Residency programme.
Dr Lim Jun Pei MBBS, MRCP (UK), MMed (Int Med)
Dr Lim Jun Pei is the Translation & Practice Lead at IGA, and Consultant at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, TTSH. Her area of subspecialty is that of cognitive and memory disorders, and research interests include sarcopenia and frailty in older adults. She was the Principal Investigator of “Whole exome sequencing in long-lived older adults (SANOS- Successful ageing in nonagenarians study)”, a study of factors of successful ageing amongst nonagenarians which was awarded Bronze award in Best Poster Presentation competition in the Singapore Health and Biomedical Congress 2019; co-investigator of the seminal GeriLABS and GeriLABS 2 cohort studies; and co-investigator of the evaluation of a Special Care Unit for Older Adults with Delirium and Dementia in the subacute hospital setting. Dr Lim is also a core faculty member of the National Healthcare Group Internal Medicine Residency Programme.
Adj Asst Prof Lee Liang Tee MBBS, MRCP (UK), Mmed (Int Med), FAMS
Adj Asst Prof Lee Liang Tee is the Translation & Practice Co-Lead at IGA, and Senior Consultant at the Department of Continuing and Community Care, TTSH, with specialty in Geriatric Medicine. He is the Clinical Director of the TTSH Integrated Care Hub (ICH), a member of the Central Health Strategic Committee, and the Clinical lead for the Intermediate Care Workstream for Community Health. Dr Lee is the advisor for the Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Committee at MOH and the Chairperson for AIC IRB. An Adjunct Assistant Professor at NTU’s LKCMed, Dr Lee is also a clinical tutor at YLLSoM and Duke-NUS. With special passion in Geriatric Medicine, he is a core faculty member of the senior residency programme for Geriatric Medicine at NHG. At NUS, he serves as a member of the executive committee for the Graduate Diploma for Geriatric Medicine course. He is also the Honorary Secretary of the Chapter Geriatric Medicine at the Academy of Medicine.
