Endoscopy Centre provides a comprehensive range of endoscopical services using state of the art technology to cater for patients with various medical and surgical conditions. Our multidisciplinary team of doctors and nursing staff work towards providing you and your family a one-stop seamless experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

We provide the following range of services.

Gastroscopy

Gastroscopy is an endoscopical procedure commonly used to inspect the uppergastrointestinal tract for symptoms such as heartburn, abdominal pain and bloating. It is also the most effective screening tool for stomach cancer.

Colonoscopy & Flexible Sigmoidoscopy

Colonoscopy is an endoscopical investigation for large bowel related conditions including change of bowel habit. It is also the recommended procedure for colorectal cancer screening.

Cystoscopy

Cystoscopy is an endoscopical procedure designed to inspect the bladder and the urethra. It is frequently carried out to investigate specific urological conditions including enlargement of the prostate gland and other abnormal findings in the urine.

Bronchoscopy

Bronchoscopy is a visual examination of the air passages leading to the lungs. It is use to evaluate symptoms such as coughing of blood, noisy or abnormal breathing, or to determine the cause of an abnormal chest X-ray. Bronchoscopy is often performed under local anesthesia with an anaesthetic agent applied into the nose and to the back of the throat. A light intravenous sedative may also be given to help the patient relax.

ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography)

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography, or ERCP, is a combined endoscopical and radiological procedure to study the bile duct and the pancreatic duct. ERCP is performed using a special side-viewing endoscope which allows a detailed examination of the common channel of the bile duct and pancreatic duct, otherwise known as the ampulla. This procedure is frequently employed to investigate any narrowing of the ducts and to treat stone diseases.
