Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) remains a major public health problem in Singapore. In its early stages, CKD is underdiagnosed because of glomerular filtration rate appears normal. Albuminuria is present in early CKD and is a predictor of progressive renal function loss. Under this project, TTSH will be providing GPs with complimentary Micral-Test strips.
