To continuously ensure that our staff are kept up to date with changes in the healthcare environment, we provide them with opportunities for professional development through various training, education and development initiatives:

Health Manpower Development Award (HMDP)

HMDP offers opportunities for healthcare staff to receive overseas training in medical and health-related fields that are relevant and can be brought back to Singapore to improve and upgrade our medical and health team's expertise in the respective disciplines.

Hospital Sponsorship for Professional Development

As part of career development, they are provided with opportunities for professional qualification sponsorships, as well as sponsorships to participate in local and overseas conferences, workshops, seminars and programmes.

Hospital In-House Programmes

Within TTSH, our staff can attend training programmes that enrich their careers with competency development in both clinical and non-clinical areas, such as learning from overseas healthcare professional experts, and in fields of management like leadership and other workplace culture programmes in promoting continuous improvement and fostering team work.

Apart from these programmes, our staff also learn from our experienced team of professionals who impart their skills and share their knowledge by coaching and mentoring.

SPRING Singapore has awarded TTSH with the People Developer System (PDS) in recognition of our staff development efforts.
