Insights To Pain Management

Synopsis

Pain is a common problem, with two-thirds of the population experiencing pain at some point in their lives. Despite the best care during the acute phase, some 20-30% of patients will continue to suffer persistent pain. Biopsychosocial factors play an important role in affecting one's pain experience. This talk aims to provide a medical update on pain management and will also focus on the multi-disciplinary approach to effective pain management.
