Pulmonary rehabilitation is a medically supervised, progressive exercise and education program for individuals with breathing problems and lung disorders.
The goals of the program are to improve the quality of life for these patients by providing a better understanding of the underlying disease process, developing methods to cope with their condition and to promote and maintain improvements in physical abilities.
This program consists of 16 exercise sessions with two pre and post assessment sessions.

This program is beneficial to patients who have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary fibrosis, or neuromuscular disease and patients waiting for lung transplant.
