Administration and Monitoring of Specialised Therapeutic Agents: Administer and monitor biologic agents, ensure patient compliance, adjust dosages as needed, and monitor for adverse reactions. Provide Caregiver Training (CGT) for self-administration of biologics or other medications.

Patient Education and Counselling: Educate patients and families about GE conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes. Provide guidance on dietary modifications, medication management, and self-care strategies.

Facilitation of Advance Care planning (ACP): GE Nurse Clinician's expertise extends to conducting ACP especially for patients with End Stage Liver Disease (ESLD). Facilitate goal of care discussion, empower them to make informed decisions about their healthcare preference, helps tailor medical interventions to align with individual values and preferences, ensuring that care is more patient- centred.

Telehealth Service: Manage chronic GE diseases such as Crohn's disease, Ulcerative colitis, and Liver Cirrhosis through regular telephonic follow-ups. Offer a hotline for rapid access to specialists and early intervention to minimise unnecessary readmissions.

Care Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare providers, including dietitians and pharmacists ensure continuity of care across different settings and treatment stages.
