Nurse Clinicians in Oncology Care are dedicated in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to cancer patients and their families. Our experienced Nurse Clinicians play a pivotal role in managing the physical, emotional, and psychological challenges that accompany cancer treatment. We offer a range of services designed to enhance patient outcomes, improve quality of life, and support patients through their cancer journey.

Our Services

Nurse-Led Clinic

Our Nurse-Led Clinic serves as a key resource for patients undergoing cancer treatment. In this clinic, Nurse Clinicians conduct thorough assessments, address patient concerns, and provide individualised care plans.

The Clinic focuses on:

  • Symptom management: We help patients cope with the physical side effects of treatment, such as fatigue, nausea, and pain.
  • Education: Patients receive guidance on managing their health, understanding treatment protocols, and maintaining well-being during and after therapy.
  • Monitoring and follow-up: We provide regular monitoring to ensure that patients' conditions are stable, making necessary adjustments to care plans as needed.

Chairside Counselling and Review

Our chairside counselling and review service provides real-time support during treatment sessions, ensuring that patients are well-informed and comfortable throughout their care. This service includes:

  • Real-time symptom assessment: Nurse Clinicians assess symptoms as they arise during treatment, allowing for immediate interventions when necessary.
  • Emotional support: We understand the emotional toll of cancer and provide ongoing counselling to help patients and families cope with the challenges they face.
  • Care coordination: Nurse clinicians work closely with the broader oncology team to ensure seamless integration of care, addressing any emerging concerns on the spot.

Tele-Review Post-Treatment

In the comfort of their homes, patients can access our tele-review service, where Nurse Clinicians conduct tele-consultations and follow up post-treatment to assess recovery and manage any ongoing side effects. This service allows for:

  • Remote symptom monitoring: Nurse Clinicians track the patient's condition remotely, ensuring prompt intervention when necessary.
  • Coping strategies: We provide support to help patients adapt to life after treatment, offering advice on nutrition, physical activity, and emotional resilience.
  • Family support: Recognising the importance of family involvement in recovery, we offer guidance and counselling to families to help them support their loved ones effectively.
