Our New Endoscopy Centre has a distinguished history, having been established and opened for patients in April 2020 during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. We perform more than 25,000 simple and complex endoscopic procedures annually​.

Common Symptoms We Investigate

Gastrointestinal Symptoms

Examines the upper digestive tract, helping diagnose conditions like gastric ulcers, reflux disease, and stomach cancer.

  • ​Persistent heartburn and acid reflux
  • Chronic abdominal pain and discomfort
  • Difficulty or pain when swallowing
  • Unexplained changes in bowel habits
  • Blood in stools
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Persistent bloating

Respiratory Symptoms

Examines the upper digestive tract, helping diagnose conditions like gastric ulcers, reflux disease, and stomach cancer.

  • Chronic cough
  • Breathing difficulties
  • Coughing out blood
  • Non-resolving lung infection
  • Abnormal chest X-ray or CT-scan
  • Fluid in the pleural cavity (pleural effusion)
  • Lung tumours

Urinary Symptoms

  • Frequent urination and bladder concerns

Our Endoscopic Procedures

Patient Journey

Before Your Procedure (at Endo PACE)

Step 1: Financial Counselling

  • You will be informed on the estimated procedure costs and Medisave ​coverage
  • Confirmation of reporting location and time

Step 2: Pre-Procedure Instructions

  • Counselling on fasting guidelines for gastroscopy (OGD)
  • Bowel preparation instructions for colonoscopy

On Your Procedure Day

Step 1: Arrival

  • Report to Endoscopy Centre at designated time
  • Complete pre-procedure assessments
You are advised not to drive on the procedure day

Step 2: Procedure

  • Duration: Usually within 2 hours
  • Performed under sedation, LA, or GA

Step 3: Recovery & Discharge

  • 30-minute to 1-hour rest in recovery bay. For bronchoscopy and more complex procedures, you may expect longer resting time or short hospital stay​
  • Next-of-kin will be contacted
  • Discharge with companion required
