Rehabilitation Medicine is a medical specialty that is involved with restoration of function and improving quality of life.

We treat patients with short or long term disabilities resulting from musculoskeletal conditions (e.g. joint pain, neck or back pain, amputations, sports injuries), neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury) or other medical conditions. Rehabilitation Physicians work with a multi-disciplinary team of therapists, nurses, medical social workers, psychologists, dieticians, prosthetists/orthotists, and other healthcare professionals.

About TTSH Rehabilitation Centre

At TTSH Rehabilitation Centre, we treat a full range of complex rehabilitation conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputee, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and sports disorders to enable patients to achieve a maximum level of independence and reintegrate into the community.

We provide Inpatient Rehabilitation services at the Integrated Care Hub (ICH), and Outpatient Rehabilitation services at TTSH. The Institute of Rehab Excellence (IRex) coordinates our research, innovation, and education programs.
