Dr Ching Min Er is currently a Senior Consultant in the Department of Cardiology. She graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2007 and completed her local Advanced specialist training programme in Cardiology in 2014. She went on to do a year of fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Medicine in St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney in 2017. She is now a senior member of the Heart Failure Service and conducts subspecialty focused ward rounds and clinics involved in the care of chronic heart failure patients. She is also involved in mentoring junior doctors, nurse practitioners and pharmacists in the multidisciplinary approach of heart failure patients. Dr Ching is also involved in the Valve clinic where complex valve patients who may require intervention are being managed. She is also capable of conducting stress echocardiograms and transoesophageal echocardiograms to aid in the diagnosis and management of various cardiac conditions. She has also been an active speaker and panelist in cardiology conferences and round table discussions.

Her strength lies in clear and effective communication of heart failure management to patients, using her experience in echocardiography for a personalised and measured approach in the care of patients.
