Founded in 1992, Dover Park Hospice is Singapore's first purpose-built hospice, serving people with life-limiting illnesses and enhancing the quality of life of terminally ill persons.

Originally sited at Dover Road, the hospice was relocated to 10 Jalan Tan Tock Seng in 1995. The 50-bed facility formed part of the Hospice Centre and provided inpatient care.

Designed by architect, Mr Ernesto Bedmar, patients and guests are greeted by a three-storey red brick building with cream-coloured corridors, luscious greenery, a central courtyard, pavilions, and a koi pond upon arrival. These features bring good ventilation and vastness with lots of natural light to the hospice to place patients closer to nature.

Over the years, the premise has served as a tranquil sanctuary for over 12,000 patients and caregivers seeking holistic palliative care to meet their physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual needs. In 2019, the Day Care service was launched to complement inpatient and home care services, ensuring continuity of care for patients seamlessly in different care settings based on their care needs.
