When SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) hit our shores in 2003, treatment of all suspected and confirmed cases was centralised at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and Communicable Disease Centre (CDC). As staff fought at the forefront of the epidemic, heartfelt letters and art poured in from the community in tribute to their efforts.
Today, they adorn a tribute wall on level 1 of Lobby A at TTSH. Resonating with vibrancy and love, the installation beautifully captures community spirit – one of the pillars of healing at HealthCity Novena – bringing hope and cheer to staff and patients.
