with the hospital, with many believing it to be a guardian,
steadfastly watching over the people.
The 14-storey National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) now sits at the heart of HealthCity. The facility is purpose-built and designed to strengthen Singapore's capabilities in infectious disease management and prevention. NCID represents a commitment to stay vigilant and safeguard against future threats, watching over us as the black lion once did.
