Dr Ivy Ng Weishan is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS), where she provides specialized care in radiation therapy for various cancers, with particular expertise in thoracic, breast, gastrointestinal, and other malignancies. She combines clinical practice with a strong commitment to medical education and training.

As Training Network Director for the Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR), Deputy Director of Education at NCIS, and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Dr Ng plays a pivotal role in shaping postgraduate and undergraduate oncology education.

Dr Ng contributes regionally through the Federation of Asian Organizations for Radiation Oncology (FARO) and has held leadership positions such as former Director of Training (RANZCR, Singapore site). Her educational efforts extend to undergraduate teaching, and invited speaker for public forums on cancers such as lung, breast, brain, and oesophageal. Committed to patient-centered care, she served in institutional roles including Patient Safety Officer, Quality Review Officer and Infection Prevention Champion. She also holds visiting consultant appointments and leads interprofessional collaborative practice.

Dr Ng will commence a Master of Health Professions Education at Monash University in 2026, equipping her to lead evidence-based innovations in oncology training and advancing her core belief that outstanding cancer care starts with outstanding education.
