Real Time Location System (RTLS)

Starting 18 December 2023, we are trialling the Real Time Location System (RTLS) to our ward visitor registration process.

In the hospital, especially during episodes of infectious diseases outbreaks – being able to identify and trace the movements of our patients, visitors and staff is crucial. The RTLS will allow rapid and reliable contact tracing so that risks can be contained and minimised during emergencies.

The system is already being used by our staff and patients and now has been scaled to protect visitors who are here to see their loved ones.

This new process might take some time to get used to. Our staff will be on site to provide assistance where needed.

Thanks for making our hospital a safe place for our patients' recovery.
