Biodata

Dr Lim is a consultant in the Department of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology (RAI) in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and deputy head of the Clinical Immunology Laboratory in TTSH. She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2010 and subsequently obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Physician of Edinburgh, United Kingdom and her Master of Medicine degree from the National University of Singapore in 2013. She completed her specialist training in Rheumatology at TTSH in 2017 and fellowship training in Clinical Immunology/Allergy in 2022.

Dr Lim was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan Fellowship for further training in Adult Immunodeficiency in 2023. She co-leads the adult immunodeficiency service in TTSH and leads the department’s genetic testing and counselling service.

Her research interests include immunodeficiency, drug allergy and systemic lupus erythematous (SLE). She was awarded the National Medical Research Council new investigator grant in 2023. She is also a co-investigator of the Asia Pacific Lupus Collaboration and Asia Pacific Systemic Sclerosis Incident Cohort.​

In addition to clinical care and research, Dr Lim is actively involved in teaching students and residents. She is a clinical Senior Lecturer at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Content Expert and Clinical Practice Facilitator at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and Member of the Internal Medicine Core Faculty and Internal Medicine Programme Evaluation Committee in TTSH.

Dr Lim is a member of the Chapter of Rheumatologists, Academy of Medicine, Singapore, treasurer of the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Society Singapore, member of the Asia Pacific Immunodeficiency Association and steering committee member of the Junior Asia Pacific Association of Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology Allergy Leadership Forum and Cafe (JAAFCA).
