Biodata

​Dr Phua Chee Kiang is a Consultant in the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He specialises in interventional pulmonology and intensive care medicine.

Dr Phua graduated from Imperial College London in 2008 and completed specialist training in Respiratory Medicine in 2018, Intensive Care Medicine in 2019, and an Interventional Pulmonology HMDP fellowship in 2024 in Singapore. He is also certified by the European Respiratory Society in Endobronchial Ultrasound.

He leads the Lung Nodule Clinic and Interventional Pulmonology Service, focusing on minimally invasive techniques for lung cancer evaluation and staging, as well as the management of central airway obstruction. His expertise includes navigation bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, rigid bronchoscopy, cryobiopsy, Nd:YAG laser, airway stenting, balloon dilatation, and thoracoscopy.

Dr Phua is a Clinical Lecturer at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and an Adjunct Lecturer at the LKC School of Medicine. He received the NHG Health Teaching Award for Senior Doctors in 2024 for his commitment to clinical education.​​​
