Building Health Beyond Today is a fundraising campaign in support of the
Health for Generations Fund (HGF)—a commitment by Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) to strengthen the long-term sustainability, innovation and resilience of our healthcare system.
Anchored in TTSH’s legacy of caring for the community, HGF prepares us for the evolving health and social needs of future generations. The Fund supports innovation in care delivery, advances preventive health, promotes environmental sustainability within the hospital community, and helps reduce health inequalities by improving access to care for vulnerable groups.
One such initiative is the
Digital Eye Care project led by
Dr Kelvin Li, Consultant Ophthalmologist at TTSH. Leveraging artificial intelligence and digital health technologies, the project hopes to establish an automated, community-based eye screening beyond traditional clinic settings. By bringing accurate eye assessments closer to where people live, the project shall improve early detection of eye diseases, reduces manpower burden, and enhances access for seniors and underserved populations—advancing preventive care while promoting more sustainable healthcare delivery.
