The Raffles Girls’ String Ensemble (RGSE) is a close-knit community that has nurtured young musicians to share their music with passion and purpose since the 1990s, extending the ensemble’s impact beyond school and using music to create meaning and connection. Guided by their teachers and conductor, Singapore Symphony Orchestra musician Ms Marietta Ku, the ensemble has consistently achieved Distinction at the biennial Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Arts Presentation, continuing to strive for excellence while sharing their joy of music with the wider community.
