Overview
Our hospital offers a wide range of services to patients suffering from Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. In addition to offering bipolar Transurethral resection of the prostate(TURP) we are the only government restructured hospital in Singapore offering Greenlight Photoselective Vaporisation of the Prostate (PVP). Patients undergoing this surgery benefit from a shorter stay and reduced bleeding risk.
We also offer Endoscopic Laser Enucleation of the prostate (commonly called HoLEP) using the latest solid state pulsed Thulium Yag laser (Thulio) This procedure is seen as the gold standard of treatment in patients suffering from BPH due to a very large prostate. We have fellowship trained surgeons performing this procedure to ensure good outcomes are maintained.
In addition to the treatments above we offer Minimally Invasive Surgical Treatments(MIST) to patients who wish to preserve their sexual function. We offer MISTs such Rezum, Urolift and iTIND to our patient pool and each patient is counselled to receive a treatment option that is best catered to him.
