Prostate Cancer Support Group in Tan Tock Seng Hospital

The incidence of prostate cancer is increasing, and it is now the third most common cancer affecting Singapore males. We understand that you may want to know more about prostate cancer and have many questions on what to do after prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment.

TTSH Prostate Cancer Support Group (PCSG) was formed in August 2011 to provide support, resources and education for prostate cancer survivors, their family and friends.

The support group is made up of prostate cancer survivors, their family members, doctors, nurses and allied health professionals from TTSH Department of Urology. We meet every month to socialise, connect with friends and help prostate cancer patients cope better with their diagnosis and treatment journey.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a world where lives are no longer limited by prostate cancer. We aim to improve prostate cancer care through research, support and providing the right information.

Our Mission

The support group offers an environment for medical, social and psychological support. We hope to empower you, your family and friends to help them understand prostate cancer better. We also support the activities and sharing among the peer group.

As a member, you will join our support group meetings and activities.

Please fill up the application form on the right and submit it to us if you wish to be part of the support group.

To Be Our Volunteer

Indicate in the application form if you wish to be appointed as a TTSH Prostate Cancer Support Group volunteer. You will then receive volunteer training to equip yourself with the necessary volunteering skills.

As a PCSG member, you can look forward to the following activities:

  • Monthly social and educational meeting in Tan Tock Seng Hospital
  • Befriending services to new prostate cancer patients
  • Interest group activities (e.g. Photography)
