Dr Stephen Teoh is a consultant at the NHG Eye Institute since 2007. He is trained in both Vitreoretina (Surgical and Medical) as well as in Uveitis, Ocular Immunology & Inflammation. 

He completed his HMDP Fellowship at the Bristol Eye Hospital, UK, under the mentorship of Professor Andrew Dick in 2006. He also received clinical training in HIV-related ocular inflammation at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Hospital, USA, under the supervision of Dr James P Dunn and Professor Douglas Jabs. 

He specialises in complex infectious and non-infectious uveitides, including management with immunosuppressants and biologic agents. He is also trained in standard vitreoretinal surgery as well as diagnostic surgeries involving retinal or choroidal biopsy. Dr Teoh runs his dedicated sub-specialty clinics in both Vitreoretina and Uveitis at the NHG Eye Institute @ Tan Tock Seng Hospital as well as the Communicable Disease Centre (CDC). 

He is also a visiting consultant to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. Dr Teoh is also the Head of Research at the NHG Eye Institute and is involved in several collaborative clinical research with A*Star, SERI and other restructured hospitals in Singapore. His research interests include ocular Dengue, HIV eye diseases, uveitis as well as surgical retinal disorders.
