​TTSH offers a wide range of Administration and Ancillary positions in the Operations, Finance, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Engineering and many more where you can build a fulfilling career.

As part of the Administration and Ancillary Team, you will play active roles in various departments, ensuring that our operations run smoothly while enhancing our patients' experience.

There will be opportunities for you to develop your career either through vertical advancement to a higher positions or lateral movement through cross-departmental transfers.


Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) play an important integral role at TTSH. Our AHPs work in healthcare teams to support the healthcare system at the hospital and community levels.

Under our allied health therapy and clinical support services are functional roles in various health science disciplines such as Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, Podiatrists, Prosthetists and Orthotists, Optometrists, Dietitians, Diagnostic Radiographers, Laboratory Technologists, Medical Social Workers, Research Coordinators and also other support roles as Pharmacy / Clinical Support / Therapy Technicians or Assistants.

Our AHPs develop our expertise under the clinical / management / education / research progression tracks.

  • Degree/Masters, Diploma, Certificate in the relevant health science disciplines
  • Registered with the respective Boards in Singapore or possess relevant certifications

​Career switch

In response to the government's effort in promoting skills upgrading and re-training, we welcome applicants who are keen on making a career switch to the healthcare sector. The Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) initiated by the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) is designed to help Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) acquire new skills or to make a career switch and find a job in the growing sectors. Professional Conversion Programmes (PCP) for Diagnostic Radiographers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Registered Nurses are open to applications.

Successful candidates will be partially sponsored by Tan Tock Seng Hospital and will undergo the relevant Diploma course at specific training providers. Upon completion, applicants will serve a bond with us.

Job trial / hospital familiarisation visit

The Job Trial programme is a good platform for applicants who are keen on a professional career in healthcare to find out more about the job. This is a half-day programme where applicants experience what the job entails in the sponsoring hospital and is an avenue for the applicants to access their suitability and their interest in working in the hospital.

​Medical Job Opportunities

Over at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, there are 3 Career Development Tracks available to establish structured career progression for our medical staff. This provides doctors with proper career progression tracks that will allow them to pursue career goals according to their different interests and competencies, and actualize their full potential.

The 3 Career Development Tracks available are as follows:

  • SPECIALIST TRACK

    This track is designed for doctors who wish to be trained as specialists. Fresh medical graduates can complete their housemanship to become Medical Officers and receive the Basic Specialist Training (BST) programme. With the completion of the BST and a recognized postgraduate degree, Medical Officers can advance to become service registrars, who will receive the Advanced Specialist Training (AST) programme. Once the AST programme is completed, they will be promoted to specialists where there will be opportunities for leadership, training and teaching.

  • RESIDENT PHYSICIAN TRACK

    This track is for doctors who do not aspire to be specialists, but want to remain working in a hospital setting. Resident Physicians can progress to become Senior Resident Physicians and Principal Resident Physicians where they will undertake senior roles, supervisory, teaching and clinical responsibilities.

  • FAMILY PHYSICIAN TRACK

    This track is for doctors who want to pursue a career in Family Medicine. Family Physician will receive higher and enlarged responsibilities such as overseeing implementation of clinical programmes and leading/ participating in research projects as they promote to Senior Family Physician, Consultant Family Physician and Senior Consultant Family Physician.

NHG Residency Programme

The NHG Residency Programme has been introduced to provide an integrated and structured training programme for residents to develop and advance in their career in the above-mentioned tracks. Details can be found at NHG Residency Program website.
