In an exclusive interview with Tamil Murasu, Ms Patmavathy, Senior Nurse Clinician from Breast Clinic shares her work as a breast care nurse and the importance of early detection through breast cancer screening and self-examination. “We aim to help our patients get back on their feet, returning to their daily routine.”
Ms Supputhai, one of Ms Patma’s patients, shared that she underwent surgery and chemotherapy after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. “We should not avoid treatment if we are diagnosed with breast cancer. Early treatment is better, and we should take care of our bodies.”
