Originally developed by Dr Charles Gomersall and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, this international course conducted by intensivists, anaesthesiologists and respiratory physicians has been adopted by ICUs in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Europe, United Kingdom and India to equip doctors starting out in ICU and doctors who care for the critically ill with the requisite skills and knowledge. It is endorsed and promoted in Europe by the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM).
