Cornea Transplant

The cornea is the clear transparent part at the front of the eyeball. It helps to focus light from outside onto the retina to allow you to see well.

A corneal transplant (keratoplasty) is a surgery where the diseased cornea is removed (in part or in whole) and replaced with a clear, healthy donor cornea.
