Adj/Asisstant Professor Kaushal Sanghvi is Senior Consultant & Head of Upper GI & Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery Service. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

His sub-speciality interests are in Gastric cancers, metabolic & bariatric surgery, minimally invasive surgery, advanced interventional Endoscopy & ERCP.

Awards Received

  1. The Courage STAR medal award (Singapore government) for being actively involved in management and treatment of patients affected by SARS (Severe acute respiratory syndrome) in November 2003.
  2. Awarded "Excellent Service Award" EXSA in November 2005, by Spring Singapore.
  3. MOH HMDP award for fellowship in advanced bariatric & Upper GI surgery in Royal Brisbane & Woman's Hospital, Brisbane, Australia. 2014.
  4. Certificate of Commendation for being a Role Model for the Class of 2014 from Yong Loo Lin Medical School.
  5. TTSH Scholarship for ERCP & advanced interventional Endoscopy in Baldota Institute of Digestive Sciences, Mumbai. India. 2015.
