Dr Jia Lun KWOK is a Consultant with the department of Urology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

He graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) ​Medicine. He completed specialist training with the Transitional Year Residency and Urology Residency Programs under the National Healthcare Group and received an Outstanding Resident Award. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore (Urology) as well as the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He holds a Master of Science in Management of Healthcare Industries.

His areas of interest within Urology are endourology, stone disease, prostate conditions and minimally invasive surgery. Dr Jia-Lun Kwok was awarded the Healthcare Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) scholarship. He finished one year of Clinical Fellowship in Endourology under Associate Professor Dr Etienne Xavier Keller at University Hospital Zurich (Switzerland), receiving advanced training in endourology, including stone and prostate surgery. He has also visited many Endourology centres of excellence​ worldwide to learn surgical techniques.

Dr Kwok is the current Program Director of the NHG Urology Residency Program. He also holds teaching appointments as Clinical Lecturer with Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS); as well as Clinical Teacher and Content Expert with Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He is a recipient of the NHG Teaching award and is active in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. As a keen researcher, he has published various peer-reviewed papers in respected journals with international collaborations, and is also a regular reviewer for journals.
