Overview

Health screening helps you find out if you have a particular disease or condition even if you feel perfectly well, without any symptoms or signs of disease.

Early detection, followed by treatment and good management of the condition can result in better outcomes, and lowers the risks of serious complications.

At the Health Enrichment Centre, we understand that every individual's health risks are different and determined by factors such as age, family history and lifestyle. Our doctors will review your health profile together with you and recommend the appropriate investigations, to suit your needs.

"I Feel Well. Why Do I Need to Go for a Health Screening?"

Many diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol are silent killers. Most patients look and feel well, with no warning signs. Hence screening for these conditions and their associated complications like blindness, heart attacks, strokes and kidney disease are encouraged. Early detection and timely intervention will prevent complications in the future, as well as enhance your well-being.

Tan Tock Seng Hospital Health Enrichment Centre is a one-stop centre where you can do affordable and comprehensive health screening. We have a dedicated team of experienced senior doctors and nurses, who will assess you thoroughly and give tailored advice on the tests/scans needed, based on your lifestyle and personal and family histories. Doctors will recommend tests based on clinical guidelines given by the Ministry of Health. A detailed medical report will be given and explained to you individually by our senior doctors in a private consultation. We can also provide you with direct access to our teams of specialists from 30 clinical disciplines, as well as access to the full-fledged modern facilities of a tertiary care hospital with more than 1500 beds.

"Won 't Health Screening Cause Me More Anxiety?"

The simple answer is 'NO'. In fact, most patients have a very comfortable and pleasant experience in the clinic. Even in cases where the health screening shows abnormalities, these patients are relieved to have diagnosed these problems at an early stage, and have a thorough discussion with the doctors on measures to control or treat these issues.
