Return-to-work (RTW) Coordinators: Facilitating RTW for Injured Workers

Synopsis

A systematic review of 14 studies showed that Return-to-work coordinators (RTWCs) can improve RTW rates and reduce intervention costs for ill/injured workers (Dol.et al, 2021).

In Singapore, there has been an increasing awareness of the importance of the roles of RTWCs since the national RTW programme was launched in November 2017.

This 2-day workshop had trained more than 70 healthcare professionals across various sectors with the core competencies of RTWCs since its first run in 2016.

In this 6th run, this workshop is now opened to non-healthcare professionals involved in managing RTW issues at their workplace.
