Project Hongbao 2026 continued to engage students in charitable giving, with new schools coming on board. Season To Give
As festive celebrations lit up homes and hearts across Singapore, this campaign ran from 1 November 2025 to 31 March 2026, expanding its outreach across Christmas, Chinese New Year, and Lent. It brought the community together in compassion and helped ensure that no one was left behind. A total of $270,000 was raised in support of the General Fund.
Care To Give: Support TTSH Patients In Need
This campaign highlighted the challenges faced by patients with limited savings and family support. Donations helped ease the burden of essential out-of-pocket medical expenses such as wheelchairs, breathing equipment, and dialysis treatment, supporting patients in their recovery and quality of life. More than $480,000 was raised for the General Needy Patients Fund.
Illuminate 灯暖人心
The Illuminate 灯暖人心 campaign brought warmth, dignity, and meaning to patients on their journey home, as well as to those in the final chapter of life. The campaign concluded on 31 October 2025, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to all donors, volunteers, and supporters who made this possible. A total of $520,000 was raised in support of the Programme of All-Inclusive Care for the Terminally Ill (PACT) and IWanttoGoHome (IWGH) Funds.
This Simple Dream of Mine
We are deeply grateful to all donors and supporters who contributed and shared their stories through this campaign. Your generosity made a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients, helping to fulfil a simple dream of theirs. A total of $130,000 was raised in support of the General Fund.
Caring Beyond Cures 2025
Launched as an NHG Health staff giving campaign in conjunction with NHG Health’s 25th anniversary, this initiative brought together the NHG community to extend care beyond hospital and clinic walls. Through collective giving, staff supported patients in need, reflecting a shared commitment to compassionate care.
Share – A Bowl of Rice 2025
This exhibition showcased paintings and beautifully crafted couplet writings. A total of $5,065 from the sale of artworks was donated to support our beneficiaries.

DTU Bazaar 2025
DTU Bazaar 2025 continued a long-standing tradition of supporting patients through community efforts. Volunteers contributed handcrafted items for sale, with all proceeds going towards our charity. A total of $10,000 was raised, and we are grateful to everyone who supported the bazaar.
Project Hongbao 2025
Project Hongbao 2025 continued to inspire students to celebrate the Lunar New Year through giving. By designing and colouring their own red packets while making donations for patients in need, participants learnt the value of compassion and community care.

Festive Giving 2024/2025
Festive Giving aims to raise awareness and inspire the spirit of giving during the festive season. It rallies every segment of society, from organisations to students, and corporates to community partners, showing how everyone can truly make a difference. This campaign expanded its outreach across Deepavali, Christmas, and Chinese New Year, raising a total of $161,674 in support of the General Fund.
Helping Needy Patients of TTSH
This campaign highlighted the struggles of patients with limited financial support. Donations helped cover essential medical-related expenses such as wheelchairs, walking aids, and respiratory equipment, enabling patients to live safely and independently at home. A total of $135,097 was raised for the General Needy Patients Fund.
Health for Generations
The Health for Generations campaign commemorated TTSH’s 180th anniversary and honoured the legacy of Mr Tan Tock Seng. It celebrated nearly two centuries of care for generations of families in Singapore, while looking ahead to a more resilient future in healthcare. The campaign raised over $250,000 in support of the programmes of the TTSH Community Fund.
Interim Dialysis for Needy Patients
This targeted campaign raised $67,919 to support patients requiring interim dialysis, enabling them to receive timely and life-sustaining treatment. The funds were channelled through the IWanttoGoHome (IWGH) Fund to support our beneficiaries.
TADA Charity Walkathon 2024
In support of the Needy Patients Transport Assistance campaign, TADA Singapore organised a 500 km community walkathon and contributed $15,000. Their efforts helped improve access to transportation for patients, and we extend our heartfelt thanks for their support.
Legacy 180
Launched in conjunction with TTSH’s 180th anniversary, the Legacy 180 campaign honoured the legacy of Mr Tan Tock Seng and raised $637,393 for the General Fund. The funds support financial assistance for patients, as well as advancements in medical research, innovation, and healthcare training.
18 Giving Circles
This staff-led initiative saw 13 departments come together in creative fundraising efforts, from walks to themed sales. The campaign raised $60,590 in support of our beneficiaries.
DTU Bazaar 2024
The Diversional Therapy Unit (DTU), with its long-standing history of supporting less privileged patients, organised bazaars featuring handcrafted items made by volunteers. A total of $20,160 was raised and donated to support our beneficiaries.
Art of Giving 2024
We extend our sincere appreciation to all who supported the Art of Giving initiative organised by Arudio Ceramic. Your support of local artists and the spirit of giving contributed to funds raised in support of our charity. A total of $12,000 from the sale of artworks was donated to support our beneficiaries.
Share – A Bowl of Rice 2024
The Share – A Bowl of Rice art exhibition returned for its second consecutive year at TTSH’s atrium. Presented by Art Action, founded by Mr Tan Kay Nguan, the exhibition raised more than $10,000 in support of our charity.
Project Hongbao 2024
Project Hongbao 2024 expanded beyond schools to include organisations and individuals, bringing festive cheer and charitable giving to even more members of the community. Nearly 2,300 students took part in the colouring activity and fundraising drive.

#WeLoveSingaporeHawkers 2023
This campaign celebrated Singapore’s unique hawker culture while raising support for needy patients in the community. Through this project, TTSH Community Fund sought to recognise the contributions of hawkers and highlight their important place in Singapore’s way of life.
The campaign raised $848,145 in support of our IWanttoGoHome (IWGH) and Help Me Go Home programmes, which help needy patients return home with continued care and support.
Strive to Thrive
TTSH Nursing came together to produce a resource textbook designed to share invaluable knowledge and experiences among nurses across hospitals. Drawing from lessons learnt during the COVID-19 pandemic and years of ground experience in patient and community care, this publication serves as a meaningful teaching resource. With community contributions and Tote Board matching, $75,350 was raised to produce this resource.
AM Family Capital Foundation
Our Community Rehabilitation Programme (CRP) received a generous donation of $100,000 from The AM Family Capital Foundation to purchase and retrofit a second-hand van to transport specialised rehabilitation aids to patients’ homes, helping improve mobility, functionality, and reintegration into the community.

Every Lunar New Year, schools across Singapore take part in Project Hongbao, where students design and colour their own red packets while giving back through donations and messages of encouragement for our beneficiaries.

Needy Patients Transport Assistance
This campaign supported patients with out-of-pocket transport expenses for medical appointments and interim dialysis treatments. Over $16,000 was raised to ease the financial burden on patients and their families.
DTU Bazaar 2023
DTU volunteers created beautiful handmade items that were sold during regular bazaars held within the hospital premises. All proceeds from the sales, totalling $17,000, were donated to support our charity.
Art of Giving 2023
Arudio Ceramic, our valued and longstanding community partner, has been a steadfast supporter of our cause. They held the ‘Art of Giving’ exhibitions at TTSH Atrium, which have become an annual tradition. During these exhibitions, talented ceramist showcases their pottery pieces and a portion of the proceeds from the sales is donated to our charity.
Ironman 2022
In November 2022, our dedicated nurse manager, Sister Lee Sow Fong, took on the Ironman 70.3 Western Australia Triathlon. Her journey went beyond personal achievement and inspired donors online, raising an impressive $36,281 on Giving.sg.

Project Hongbao 2022
Students from preschools and primary schools designed their own Lunar New Year red packets to celebrate the Year of the Tiger. They also donated a portion of their hongbao money or pocket money to support needy patients. A total of $37,996 was raised.

Nurses Day 2022
In an endearing tribute to Nurses’ Day, the organising committee at TTSH introduced creative fundraising efforts in support of needy patients. A charity auction featured exclusive items, from limited-edition TTSH Lego sets and acrylic peacock canvas paintings to handmade jewellery sets adorned with semi-precious stones.
The spirit of giving extended beyond the auction. At the Mama Booth Charity Sale, surplus textile used for nursing uniforms found new life as tote bags, cushion covers, and other merchandise. A total of $22,999 was raised in support of needy patients.
EndowUS Giving Machine
EndowUs selected TTSH Community Fund as one of the beneficiaries of its Giving Machines campaign, raising $5,609. Physical giving machines were placed in shopping malls such as Square 2 at Novena, while virtual giving machines on Giving.sg made it easy for donors to contribute online.

Stronger Together 2021
Amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, this campaign brought the community together to support patients in need. A total of $323,904 was raised to provide financial assistance, as well as support healthcare research, innovation, and training to improve patient care. Contributions were matched under Tote Board’s Enhanced Fundraising Programme.
Tod’s Charity Weekend, April 2021
On the weekend of 16 to 18 April 2021, Italian luxury label Tod’s held its annual Charity Shopping Weekend to raise funds for the Helping Elderly Patients Programme (HELP) under the charity. The year 2021 marked the seventh year of partnership with Tod’s, and we would like to express our deepest gratitude for its continued support.
Pay it Forward with JT
Recently, I was at a food center and I was having my lunch. An old lady came to clean my table. She was frail. Her hands shook, holding the cloth that was to wipe my table. Despite all these, she wore a smile so bright - you know it is from the heart. She is probably in her mid 60s. I observed her. After my lunch, I ushered her over. She thought I needed her service to clean my table. As her shaking hands reached out for the table, my hands reached for hers. I pressed a $10 note into her palm.
This heartfelt campaign was inspired by a simple act of kindness. JT encouraged others to celebrate giving by donating towards the Helping Elderly Patients Programme (HELP), reminding us that even small gestures can make a meaningful impact.

The total fund raised was $33,384.91.

When TTSH Community Fund approached White Lodge Kindergarten and Pre-School to participate in ‘Project Hongbao’, they did not hesitate. After seeing especially, the needy, sick and elderly lives affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, they saw a cause that was important to them and felt like this their chance to help the community in their own way. White Lodge Kindergarten and Pre-School were especially keen on TTSH Community Fund’s focus on supporting healthcare research, stating this to be an important lesson at a preschool level.
As part of their own Chinese New Year celebration at their school, Project Hongbao was a great addition, providing the opportunity for the students to experience giving back in a creative and fun way. This fell in line with their belief in Singapore’s many and mixed cultures and traditions as a unique and special way of giving back and being there for one another.
The project was very well received within the school community by the parents and students alike, and everyone took pride in the opportunity to collaborate with TTSH Community Fund this year. The children thoroughly enjoyed decorating and filling up a Hongbao as a token of good wishes, reflected by their wonderful submission and generous donations.
We would like to say a big thank you to White Lodge Kindergarten and Pre-School for their initiative, compassion, and enthusiasm in this campaign. We very much hope to continue sharing this experience for the coming years!
What was the experience like for Mulberry Learning @ Tanjong Pagar?
It is not easy to inculcate the values of caring and sharing among children below 7 years but Mulberry Learning @ Tanjong Pagar readily took up the challenge through participating in Project Hongbao. Teachers at the centre shared videos and arranged picture talks in class to help children understand the plight of the less fortunate, as well as the challenges faced by the elderly and the less-privileged.
The children then decorated their red packets before they penned down their well wishes to the beneficiaries and staff at TTSH Community Fund. As some of the children were only 18 months old, the objective of Project Hongbao may be hard to grasp. This is where the parents come in to share their inputs and help their children deepen their understanding on helping others.
Mulberry Learning Centre adopts the Habits of MindTM Curriculum where little Mulberrians are constantly exposed to activities and social stories involving empathy. Project Hongbao then allowed the children to look at the world through the eyes of gratitude and help them better learn and understand how their collective action can make a positive difference in the lives of those in need.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
TTSH Breast Services launched a Giving.sg campaign and raised $19,570 for the TTSH Breast Cancer Research and Education Programme, which focuses on improving responses to current drug treatments, increasing the accuracy of breast imaging, and more.
