Breathing is so natural that we hardly ever think about it, until something goes wrong. Our patients rely on breathing machines just to stay alive. Patients under the Home Ventilation & Respiratory Support Service (HVRSS) scheme may have conditions such as spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy or stroke. Our Help Me Go Home Programme subsidizes the high cost of home ventilators and consumables, so patients can go home to their loved ones, and be in the comfort of their homes.
