Vision
To be a leading centre in building capabilities for thought leadership, workforce transformation, and innovation for Allied Health Professionals and Pharmacists.
Mission
To collaborate, co-learn and co-create with patients and partners across health-social sectors in the 3 identified key areas of community, trans-disciplinary, and tech-enabled care.
To continuously innovate our roles and care models as future-ready Allied Health Professionals & Pharmacists, so as to drive health-social integration, optimising independence and quality of life for our population.
CAPE was officially launched on 10 May 2019. This was also the day that CAPE and Centre for Asian Nursing Studies (CANS) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). With this new collaboration, the parties will co-develop trans-disciplinary training programme, community health professional programmes and nursing & allied health specific programmes, to impact actual community health practices and to meet the future needs of our rapidly ageing community.
For our aspiring and current Allied Health Professionals and Pharmacists, this is great news! This means more opportunities for applied practice, and ensures that learning goes beyond the classroom walls, to bring value to our patients who will eventually receive the care.

With this partnership, we will be developing and conducting training programmes to address the rising needs in the community, specifically in the areas of workforce transformation and trans-disciplinary model of care. This includes upskilling of Therapy Assistants and upskilling of Care Staff in the Community.
